1 week

Relaxing day today, hubby cooking a roast, youngest playing his Xbox, and my girl off on her travels for the week, last night she sent me an emoji of her blowing me a kiss before bed, first time she has ever done that, and she made me a card before she left, so so so happy with that ❤️

Mum,

Well done ma'am!

1 week is a long time for a drunk to be sober.

If you are like me, the mental anguish will really kick in soon and the battle will continue on an ever changing field.

Sober life is 1000000% better.

Real life w no filter.

My mind is still normalizing and scars from my past are ever present. I made my bed.

I have to stay clean. I now know booze does nothing but drug me and turn me into a blubbering weak drunk that is ruining his health.

Thanks sr for all of the education.

Be well.

Thanks.

Booze never helps anyone, it messes with everything, mind body and soul, it’s been destroying families forever, until one of two things happen, you meet youre maker or you stop drinking, have a great day
