i want to die ...want to go to na husband says no he scared ill stop taking my meds i went to aa meeting in na chat room my life is a mess i cant do this anymore
I'm sorry you feel so low WolfsChild
Maybe you can let your husband know that you going to NA won't mean you'll be encouraged to go off your meds - quite the opposite really.
AA members and NA members are not meant to play Dr.
I know it hard to get appointments with Drs etc but if you feel in danger from yourself can you see the community nurse or something?

Wolfschild, I'm sure your husband is trying to do the right thing for you, but maybe you can convince him you will continue to take your meds if you go to an AA meeting. Please call the support numbers you have if you are feeling suicidal or go to a hospital. I truly hope that you feel better.

I’m sorry that you are feeling so bad. Sobriety is a rough go. Especially early on. In any of the twelve step programs no one will tell you to get off of your meds. If they do then they themselves need to take an inventory. Don’t give up. If no one has told you this today I love you and I have faith in you. Stay strong and keep fighting. It is so worth the fight to make it through.
