18 months on the 16th

I haven’t been around for awhile, but I haven’t forgot about SR or the lessons learned here. It’s been a long year this past year, mainly at work. Very stressful, but I made it sober. It’s been a long year with the teens, but with more laughs than before. I’ve thought about Porte wine from time to time. Toyed with the lie that I can control it all this time, then I remember the first 30 days and tell myself....no, I think I fine. Just sleeping decent is worth it. Not waking up wondering how I got to bed or where. No Porte wine was insanity for me. 18 months is a good start to the next, one day at a time.
Stay strong all. Nothing replaces being in your right mind......and emotions.

So awesome! Congratulations! You inspire me that parenting teenagers can be done without alcohol. Mine is a tweener so he’s getting close. Stay strong!

Fantastic!! I also agree the first 30 days is pure torture. I NEVER EVER want to go through that again. I'm only on day 50 something, lost count but oh so wonderful. You have done amazing! Keep this up forever 😊
