I've changed

Sorry I haven't posted in a while
I'm 8 an a half months sober and honestly I rarely think of alcohol
My marriage is fallen apart I'm actually viewing a house today
I think somewhere along sobriety I changed
And the things I used to put up with I no longer wish to ..just put up with them
My husband would always have a go at me about my drinking ...now he hasn't got that to throw at me ..it's my weight he constantly criticizes...I'm a stone overweight ...
Anyway sorry I haven't posted I've still been lurking everyday

Really proud of you Caralara! 8 months is wonderful and embrace the change and love the person you have become. Sorry for the stress and challenges your having to face right now but you’ll get through it and it will only make you stronger. xx

Well done Cara. I just read your thread about resisting holiday drinking, by chance that was on 19th July the day I stopped, I remember the post. Good look moving forward.

I honestly think if I did stay in my marriage I would go back to drinking ...
I've a long hard road ahead but sober I can do this ...thanks everyone x
