Day 27 blessed

Got back from vacation, still sober. Had few moments of wanting a drink during the vacation. Since this was my first vacation without alcohol in many years, but hey made it back to my comfort zone, home 🙂

Well done Rover.

Having made it through your first sober vacation in a long long time shows some determination.

You are almost at the one month mark. As for myself, that is when I really start thinking “now you can’t go throw that away!”

That's great to hear Rover, well done.

For me one of the nicest things about going away is getting back home again. There really is no place like home!

Thank you all for the kind words. I honestly can say that, I was only able to do this with the strength and courage from God, and all of you here at SR. You all have been my sounding board and keep me in check when I have my ups and downs.

Thank you !!!!!

Nice. That's a big hurdle to cross. These types of wins should build confidence. Turns out, we really aren't missing anything. Life can be fun and interesting in sobriety.

I bet it feels good to be getting the blinders off to life's possibilities now....

Best-
