I'm a "double winner" w/19mo sober(minus 1 night),but this song came on the other night on a drive by the lake and I'd never heard it.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NB5atRL2zhc The lyrics really struck me coming from both sides, where neither person really 'thinks/own's' they were wrong. There's by no means me going back,but I can now 'see it' from both sides of the mental struggle. Pretty enlightening actually to look at it that way. hmmm...

The part about 2 years I remember hearing when we were in year 2 of our relationship. My "home" that I missed was acceptance from my family and the life I had before all of the insanity took grip. In the song she is longing for that home again but feels in too deeply and doesn't know how to get out. Very inspirational.

I'm not a religious person, extremely spiritual, but not a fall down on your knees and pray..this one got me though. My take away (take what you need and leave the rest mantra) is that after such a long marriage ending I'm surviving, even beginning to thrive and I really hope he can find his peace in life too.
