Welcome. When you say you only binge drink one to two times a week, do you just mean it’s not every day? It doesn’t seem like you mean “only” in the sense of it’s not that bad but just wanted to clarify. It sounds like even once is too much, period. I think you will find lots of support here and people rooting for you to not pick up that first drink so that you never wind up in a binge. I am not sure how long you’ve been on the forum but from many wise posters I have definitely had it burned in my brain that for people who drink alcoholic ally or problematic ally or however you want to call it, there is no formula to allow drinking to stay in our lives if we want it to be as full as it can be. LIke, you don’t want to have the goal of just drinking “normally” one to two times a week so much as you want to have the goal of being totally free of it. Well, at least, that’s how i see it. Sending lots of support to you to just not pick up that first one! We are rooting for you.
