How did I...
End up in this position again?
... When I know drinking is the last thing I should do? Alcohol is quite the drug... :-/
Is there a thread I can check into daily here? Meetings are must at this point .. but since they're not always available, hoping there's another option here when they aren't? I just need a daily reminder .... I'm more than ready to just stop.

Hi ETW, it is quite the drug isn't it? It's the friend that is never mad at you for ignoring it.
I'm pretty new here and haven't used it but I think the thread below is one that you can post in daily -

Good luck in your recovery, you can get there

Hey, remember that knowing something is bad for you and stopping something that is bad for you are 2 different things. Don't beat yourself up for "knowing" something is bad for you. It's not your fault. Instead, concentrate on figuring out what your emotional issues are that fuel your addiction. If you can swing it, find a professional counselor who can help you get to the root of why you drink when you "know" what it will do to you.
