The road to hell.....we have all walked it, are halfway along it or are just embarking on it.

I dont seem to be able to take a turn in the road. My journey is always the road to hell and getting worse.

I'd agree with decchemist Cuckoo, you have the steering wheel in your hands. Sometimes it seems like we are on "autopilot" but make no mistake - if you want to quit drinking you can choose to do so, today if you like.

I failed a gazillion times and I regarded people who managed to stay sober as supermen/women whereas I couldn't make it to a fortnight. Your still posting so you still want to quit and are still trying. I'm sure that you will get your mind in the right place Cuckoo and stay off the poison.

I think to get off the road we have to make different choices.
Every drink is another off ramp whizzing by in the rear view mirror.
