Triple digits now
Well, I broke 100 days last week. Somethings have started falling into a normality. Most days I don’t even think about drinking. Other days I’d like an ice cold beer since it’s summer. Started a new , better job and I’m just staying focused on that. Trying to come home tired every day. Even at 100 days my stomach was still in turmoil every morning so I started taking medimicil which has helped.
I gotta be honest and say things are looking good at the moment. Just focusing on family and doing yard work on the weekends. I’ve been on SR less and less just from being busy. The cravings I have had are no where near intense as the first month. More like just a thought that comes and goes. I don’t think I could stand a hangover without being dead for 3 days afterwards anyway. Too hot for the dehydration.
When I started 100 days seemed like forever and I’d never make it. It went by so quick. I’ve gained back anything I’ve lost but I’m good with that. The weight kinna distributed itself better and it’s not the swollen alcoholic belly I had.
Anyway, minor update. Maybe it’ll help someone else to know the days do start passing quickly.

Congrats, 100 days is awesome! For me that was the time when managing my cravings got a lot easier. The only temptations after that were mostly ‘special occasions’ (‘it is our Christmas party and I can’t drink, while the others are having a fabulous time, poor me!’), so you’ll want to watch out for that.
But apart from these little nuisances you’ve got some awesome times to look forward to!
