My mind and body went through every time I drank, I've been looking at it in the mornings and actually dragging myself into feeling it, not nice but neccasary so I don't forget how awful I felt
Mummy, I think that's a good exercise. Can I suggest another to follow right after? Can you maybe spend 5 minutes quietly with your eyes closed really feeling what's better today? Look for the smallest of things and I'll bet you will find them.
