Life is beautiful
It’s been 21 days and I feel amazing. I just want to put this positive post up so those who are struggling can see that that it does get better, life can be wonderful. I’m so full of energy, I’ve found myself running around and laughing so hard with my kids I feel like I’m a kid too. I see the happiness in their little faces when they see mum being so silly! My bloated tummy has gone down, I’m back at the gym, my skin has cleared up, I’m no longer fatigued, my mind is clearer, I love life.... it’s endless! I’ve also made a list of things I’ve really wanted to do but never got round to or put off! Next week I’m getting a tattoo started and I’ve got a horse riding lesson, lots more to tick off! **** you alcohol your out of my life!

That's brilliant to hear I'm so happy for you. It's really great to discover that life isn't all doom and gloom without alcohol in it, a bit quieter perhaps (at least for me anyway). Keep remembering these good days just in case some bad ones rear their heads

Three days in and I'm struggling...I'm tired, crabby, anxious and have a pounding headache. Always with the added annoyance of knowing I did this to myself.
Your cheery post is a great reminder. Things will get better..I'll feel better...I just need to keep on the right track.
