Day 61
Day 61
I can't believe I've made it this far!! I couldn't have done it without you guys on SR, AA, and my sponsor. Thank God I never have to drink again. Thank God I can actually start LIVING now. I am so grateful for every precious moment of life, to be alive, to be present in my own life. Drinking the way I did was leading me down a dark road of misery and thank God I got off that wagon. Good days come and go, bad days come and go, but I am SOBER NOW!

Really well done. And you’ve seen something important that I believe no drinker is really capable of seeing: bad days come and go, and you don’t need to turn them into an excuse to drink. Keep going, and all my best to you!

Wow - Wow - Wow. Congratulations, bringmeback7693. You have just made my day! I am so proud of you. I have 20 years, 10 months, 16 days sobriety, and I owe it all to the grace of God, the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, my sponsor, and my willingness to work the steps. I love who I am as a sober person. Keep on doing what you're doing and soon you'll be able to give what you have to another suffering alcoholic. You're already carrying the message. I heard it. Wow, again.
