Weekender Thread 28th June to 2nd July 2018

I want to welcome anyone new to SR and new to this thread.

Weekends can be a tough time, and that's what this thread is about - support.

We also share bits and pieces of our lives and the things that are important to us, or make us laugh

If you've never jumped into a weekender thread before - do it now!

I am in.

Thank you, Dee. Love this quote.

Another round of dentist torture for me later.

Have to do some work.

Have a good one, weekenders!

Good morning Weekenders and thanks Dee. A little cooler here tonight too. Yesterday evening I came home and found one of our hanging plants all wilted and dryed out. I remember reading a tip here on the weekenders to soak it, so I sat it in an ice cream bucket full of water. Only about half the pot fits in, but it started sucking up the water & I kept topping it up until the water level stopped dropping. Left it overnight and this morning it's 100% better. So thank you to whomever it was that mentioned that.

Hi everyone it’s Thursday night here in the land of Oz, 8.45pm, and another early night for me. Going to bed early helps reduce my thoughts about drinking wine (or eating sweet stuff as a substitute) and hopefully I will sleep better tonight, my sleep has been really patchy and full of random dreams when I do fall asleep so I’m tired by this time anyway... Good night

I'm in too.
Thanks for the tips D & Andy

It's only been 3 years Gilmer.
One of the problems with telcos is that despite the good engineers in place management and excos tend to choose sub contractors and SaaS / Cloud solutions at exorbitant prices to replace what was and still is working perfectly for 15 years...
Change does us good.
And I'm just grumpy today.
Grumpy vman.

Grunt.....tired Suze.... and massive amount of school work to do today.
However.....tired beats hungover by about 6 000 000 %.

I'm so sorry Dragon.....that is crazy hard....not the right place to get into all of the details, but I put my family through that as well. I was 16.

It is horrifying for me to even imagine that lovely young girl who so desperately wanted to die. Thank God I didn't.

VERY glad we are all here. Love you guys. s

In for another sober weekend.

Love the flow chart, andyh. We all have the solution within us. We're born with it.

vMan, technology makes our lives easier. Or does it? Bigger and more complicated is better, right? I dunno. If there is one thing I would do away with it would be email. The cloud is good, though.

um. Says you. I have no idea what that means.

I thought the interwebz were something like 99.97% cat memes.

I might get a white cat next. Not a Persian, though.
