47 Days sober, Morning Anxiety?

I've noticed within the last week, after being awake for 30 minutes im getting anxiety till early afternoon then i feel better.

I find that with ever ache, pain, i automatically worry that somethings wrong with my health.

I've had a physical, blood work done, everything was normal.

My blood pressure and heart rate are good, i just feel amped up?

For me I've found in early stage of recovery i feel best from 4pm till bed till around 10.30pm.

What are your thoughts, how do you feel?

I am 16 days sober.
I am an anxious person... and also tend to get anxiety the same times daily. For me it is 3/4pm- 8/9pm. Unsure why it is always that time... I cannot pinpoint why.

I was even anxious during that time when I was drinking.

Stopping and breathing does helping me tremendously. Taking mini breaks through out the day to try and relax by reading/posting or watching a few minutes of a YouTube video is also helpful. Oh and not drinking 😉

Day 61 for me. My anxiety follows in the same pattern. Mornings are the worst and gets better as the day progresses. My anxiety level has dropped significantly the past 30 days. Stay the course!

There are several reasons why anxiety is worst in the morning. Cortisol levels are highest in the am. Also, your brain is firing up for the day with neurotransmitters.

I have taken up early morning exercise and it helps a lot.

When I was having a lot of anxiety during early sobriety it was worse in the morning and early afternoon and would ease in the evening.

Lifting heavy weights as soon as I wake up seems to solve most of my mental issues. Oh and not drinking
