Hi. No alcohol 6 weeks its a walk in the park. However! Foggy brain, low mood lethergy all persist.

Just stopped AD after 12 weeks aswell, as made me feel poop!

My main thing is aches in legs and shoulders. Is this toxins? Or any other reason for this since stopping alcohol.

Hi Leo! Day 57 for me. Congrats on your 6 weeks!! For me the brain fog comes and goes. However the good days are beginning to out number the not so good days. I haven't had the aches and pains you describe however I do suffer from fatique and tiredness. Drink lots of water and try and eat a balanced healthy diet along with exercise and meditation. This will help tremendously.

I had a lot of aches and pains in the first couple months. I was taking ibuprofen for the first time in years. I don't know the physiological reason: I made one up, though! I figured it was my poor nervous system finally being able to work as designed instead of being numbed/sedated all the time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The aches and pains disappeared. Congrats on your sober time. Keep it going!

Hi mate, congrats on your sober days.

Gosh, the brain fog is awful. I find myself walking the dogs and just in a trance somedays. I start talking then go blank lol. Its bloody awful. Just hope it passes. 6 weeks is early days they say.
