My name is Liliana
Welcome, Lilliana2.
You can stop.
It will be uncomfortable, but only for a little while - and then you get to have your life back.
Are you ready?
It doesn't just "happen." I had to buy it, pour it and pick it up and put it in my mouth. I had to accept that was not going to happen again, and do everything in my power to follow up that decision.

Liliana, you can stop. You can do this! It's not easy but it's simple. Get rid of the alcohol in your home and don't buy anymore today. When the evening comes, be sure to have planned something that will help to distract you, something that is different from your usual evening routine.
Hello and welcome. It's great to have you here.
I can relate to what you're going through. I lived that way for ten years.
Despite my best intentions, swearing off alcohol, dumping it out and solemn oaths, I would always end up drunk again.
Don't be too hard on yourself. You're not a bad person. I hated what I had become, too.
You made a start by coming here, you'll find a lot of support here. So stick around.
Best to you.

Hey LA. Glad you found us.
How about breaking the evening habits and doing something else instead. Maybe you could go to an AA meeting so you're getting some support at your tricky time (or at least in the lead up to it).
HALT are things that make things more tricky for us. H for Hungry. A for Angry. L for Lonely, and T for Tired. Would any of those especially be rattling you around that time do you think? If so, your plan could include things that would minimise these.

I was an evening drinker ... sometimes early afternoon drinker too. Would wake up ill and hung over after 8 pints. Always told myself I am not drinking again and then would drink again.
I'm 3 weeks in and things are now getting much easier. The battle is worth it. You will feel amazing in time. It's the best decision you can make. I do not regret it and when you realise how amazing life is sober you will never want to go back to the poison.
Welcome to the gang

Hey
Hey Liliana .... I am the same! I take it you’re female? I say every day ‘I won’t drink’ then night comes and I want it to sleep how old are you? I’m 25! Do you drink very much and what’s your history with it?
I hope you’re okay, I’m in the same boat xxx
