Back again

Like my sponsor says: if you haven’t had enough, go out there and let alcohol kick you around some more- we’ll be here when you come back.
That’s what I’ve done. Saturday night wife and kids out of town, hit my head on cabinet door, bled like crazy. Neighbors came over, got my head quit bleeding, drank like a fish. Had to get up Mother’s Day morning feeling like crap, then really felt like crap having to tell my wife, kids, and sponsor what I did after two weeks sober. Back to meetings everyday. I have told everyone that didn’t know that I have a problem drinking and I need their help and support to stay sober. Got a couple of books: “sober living” is one I'm really enjoying. Met some new friends at last nights meeting after telling them what I did- going to another tonight with new AA buddy to keep myself in check.

I suggest you go back and read this thread you posted in 2015. Nothing changes - you know the rest...

God this cycle is so sick - I have the same ability to go back and look at the old posts of mine that show just how long it took for me to get here.

What's up KE? Are you planning on drinking again? Maybe moderating?

Or do you have a plan to quit?

Welcome back. Stay strong.
