What do seeds do?
They lift their heads and put out roots in an act of faith that the nourishment of sun, rain and air will be above them, and that the nourishment of the soil in which they find themselves will also be there. And they WILL be, if they have a good gardener.
Lets remember to lift our heads and put out our roots in faith that our necessary nourishment will be there, and to be the required “good gardener” for ourselves and others.

In 1979 a very kind AA gent played a seed with me. A year later, in another town, I turned to AA and recovered as the result. 35 years later I sought out the gardener and let him know he had not wasted his time. Unsurprisingly, he was still sober.
