What if...
What if, when you quit, you would feel miserable for the rest of your life? Cravings, anxiety, all sorts of bad stuff.
Bear with me for a moment.
What if that were true. The only option would be to drink. To be a drunk. To be a dazed mess living in a haze...
Wait a minute. Which one is worse?
Drinking is easier. That's the problem. But I'd rather feel cravings than be a drunk. It's not like they're gonna kill me.
Alcohol would btw.
Thanks for bearing with me.
The reality is, for a period of time after quitting, you may feel miserable. You may want it so much.
But that will pass! It's for a limited time-period.
Be strong in the darkest moments and you will get through it. And then alcohol will be gone.
Oh and btw, not quitting is life-long misery. Do you really want that? Or do you want to know what the light at the end of the tunnel feels like? It's quite nice.
