What should you do?
Just now, and if you’re still awake, you shouid stop drinking alcohol, drink some water, have more to hand, and then go to sleep. Tomorrow, you should eat well as soon as you can face it and keep drinking water. Than, when you feel better, you can think about why you relapsed, because this doesn’t need to me any more than exactly that.
My very best to you.

Welcome to SR! Put down the booze, get some sleep then start working on a plan of how you're going to stay sober. There's loads of reading on this site and tonnes of supportive people. Glad to have you with us.
Welcome to SR, I'm glad you found us! Three months is a good amount of sobriety, what were you doing to stay sober during that time? Think back to right before you drank, and see what you can add in as an additional support.
Looking forward to seeing you on here!

Me and my girlfriend broke up a few days ago. I know it's cliche. I saw her social media feed, going out and having fun with others, I felt alone and terrible. So I relapsed. To work my plan out, I didn't had a specific plan honestly I was jogging whenever I wanted to drink, but yesterday I just didn't care. I think I need to develop other kinds of strategies rather than just running. Thank you for all your support I feel less terrible now
Welcome.
For me- I use SR every day. Also AA meetings- they are free and it is socialising, I see my GP regularly for blood work and to monitor my depression, and a counselor - for CBT, to work out all the crap in my head..and how to cope with every day life.
Lastly- I remember the HALTS bit.
If I am Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired (or thirsty) or Sad (or stressed)- I eat, do mindful breathing or go for a walk or journal, I go to a meeting, nap or hydrate, or talk to my counselor..I fix it or get help. I am always surprised how well these obvious but necessary things work.
Support to you.
oh and I journal and paint.

Welcome to SR!
When my son was 10 months old he took 2 steps and then fell flat on his face.
Was he failing or learning?
He walks pretty good now. I think its because he got back up and tried again.
And again, and again, and again, until he got it right.
The things we can learn from children!
