3 Years Today
3 Years Today
One of the biggest things I have come to understand since quitting 3 years ago is the cumulative effect of the habits we make. I spent roughly 6000 days of my life drunk, hungover or passed out. Getting sober for me has been an exercise in breaking and replacing 24000 bad habits. Habits feed on each other making each outer even worse.
The good news is that the opposite is true. Good habits feed on each other. One we start to break and replace some of the old ways you will start to see that making positive changes in your life gets much easier. Know that it will not always be as hard as it is at first.
My life is so different not you would not recognize me.
I think our cravings we are just deep rooted bad habits that need a little more care and love to be replaced.
Much love for everyone here. It gets easier.

Congrats on 3 years GS! Thanks for the inspirational message, I agree that we can definitely change our habits for the better. And that the result is cumulative.
Thanks for all of your contributions over those years here as well!
