Going to the doctors tomorrow back on day 1
Thanks, just explained to my little boy all about addict and telling him that's why I need the doctors help, the other day I thought my daughter had hid my purse, but was my little boy to stop me from going out to buy drink, awful
good advice there to yourself in your avatar saying
your experience with your little one reminds me of this: the founder of Lifering Secular Recovery got the impetus to sober up and later start the organization when his very young son asked him " you are a drunk Daddy, yes?" or something very close to it.
awful yes but can be the turning point.

I'm so glad you are back, Mummy. It's a very good idea to talk with your doctor. Quitting for your children's sake is an excellent choice. My father was a alcoholic who caused our family lots of misery when I was young. I hated and resented him for a long time, although he became sober and we did reconcile--I cared for him at the end of his life. Sadly, I became a drunk too, the thing I most hated in my dad. It's a tough situation but you can do this. We are here for you . Wishing you lots of strength.
