I am new here and I feel like talking. I go to al-anon meetings regularly and I love them but I missed a few this last week with some things I had to take care of. I don't talk yet In the meetings but sometimes I really want to, I just have never let people into my problems before this, and its really hard. The stories are amazingly familiar to mine and when I go, I feel like I can tackle another issue I am having or just breath for a moment. My husband is an alcoholic, has been since I met him 25 years ago. We married 14 years ago and have a child. I left him last summer but until recently have decided to divorce. I have such guilt about so much and he is the best manipulator. But I can't live like this and I want to do the best thing for my child. Anyway, thanks for being here for those of us who need to talk and are listening.
