Messed up...

Ugh. Without going into to much detail I totally messed up - drinking.

Long story short (or longer if you read it!).

I went to visit a friend who had given birth to a premature baby. The baby had survived a whole lot of issues and is super cute!

I lost my baby at 26 weeks. I gave all my baby clothes to my friend, but just holding her has brought it all back.

And yes I drank I cannot stop thinking about my baby xxx

I am so very sorry for your loss, Cassie.

The loss of a child is simply overwhelming and all consuming.

Have you sought out grief counseling?

I can't imagine the pain you are going through. Like what was said earlier, have you considered counseling? Do you have family/friends that are supporting you. All the best. John

I'm sorry for your loss Cassie.

Drinking never did me and my grief any favours tho.

Drinking is like an aeroplane in a holding pattern - nothing gets solved, we don't ever really engage with our feelings of loss or grief, so we never get through all that to the other side.

Some else suggested grief counselling - I think thats a way better idea than drinking.

I know that people say that drinking never makes anything better - but I also know it’s easier said than done. The most important thing is that you somehow figure out a way to get back on track, as hard as that seems. God bless.🙏
