Currently on Day 8. Getting more involved in AA, husband is working on himself in inpatient, and he has agreed to go to couples counseling with me. I am hoping these changes will help my sobriety. My next goal is 30 days, a milestone I have not reached in some time.

Good. Exercising and sunbathing by the pool. I am a miracle, and it’s all about willingness and surrender. Today life is good.😎

I’m currently at the airport waiting to board a flight. I developed a craving for a glass of Chardonnay. I think the urge has passed, and so I am trying to think what I did that helped. One thing I did was think about all of the bad things that happen when I drink. I also took a walk. I also practiced mindfulness and became super aware of everything around me so that I did not do anything without thinking. I came on here to read which was helpful. My sponsor also told me to pray. Looking forward to Day 9 in 2 hours!!!

At my hotel now with 9 days. So glad I got through that craving for Chardonnay at the airport yesterday. One mistake and the destruction starts.
