Morning all

Just checking in for myself really. Day 6 today. Things are ticking along. Nothing special happening here apart from the fact thst I havent had any alcohol 🙌.
Off to work soon and for the first time in ages I feel able to function for the day.
Sorry to bore you all every morning.....it just feels great to write it down.

Hey, Cuckoo--day 6 is excellent and hearing about other's sobriety success def doesn't bore me--on the contrary, I find it inspiring and uplifting. Wishing you a lovely day.

Boring is never really boring. As an adult at least, boring generally means that things are ticking along in a quiet, predictable, relatively calm way and that is a decidedly good thing. Very well done on staying sober and enjoy your day!

Thank you so much everyone. I have been here many times before and always felt a bit awkward about posting....like I didnt really belong to the club and had nothing to offer back but this time I feel differently. In fact, everything feels different this time. Peeps feel like friends and not just names on a website.
Hopefully I may be able to give something back soon.
