Day 4

It’s been hard and heavy work. The breakup reality that I masked with drinking has hit me with full force. Having to really make a monumental effort to get to my job and get food down me

Trying to stay positive and with a good outlook that’s essential whatever the future holds isn’t it?

So I’m here on day 4. I’m not going back and I’m working hard to be grateful for everything good in my life

Thanks for being patient

I don't envy you. The first couple of weeks are no fun. The good news is that you don't have to go through this ever again, and it's going to keep getting better!

You waded into the River of Discomfort because you've heard there's a better life on the opposite shore.

There is.

Swim!!! No turning back!

You can do this!

keep at it,man! I really 'needed' a drink to get through some rough life happening yesterday, but I stayed sober and was present to deal/help with whatever needed taken care of for those around me. I poured them a few and handled my business like an adult.

Awesome, keep on going! It will take a while to the other side, so brace yourself, a lot of patience will be required!

Thanks everyone for the messages of support and encouragement. I’m finally doing this- for me- no junk food replacement for alcohol this time no way!

Rounding off another day here, god bless you all. I’m ok, no booze happening here

So glad I don’t have to waste my life anymore
