Good morning everyone I new to this alocohol recovery. It’s only been two weeks but I have never went this long without a drink and it’s huge for me. I always wanted to quit but wasn’t ready to change from thw thought of me missing out on something as far as partying me having fun. I’ve come to realize I don’t need to drink to have fun. I’m more mature and ready to commit the rest of my life to sobriety. I haven’t had any urges but small thoughts that are automatically blocked out. Wish me luck!
Hello and welcome. Two weeks is great, it's not 'only' two weeks, though. Two weeks is a long time to go without a drink. You should be proud of yourself.
When I was first trying to quit. two weeks seemed impossible so congratulations.
You'll find a lot of support here so stick around and best to you.
