Relapse

Well unfortunately I relapsed but I am ready to do this again. No more excuses. I realize how much better I felt when I wasn’t drinking. I never want to go through this again, I feel soo gross and ashamed. But I’m not giving up, I can do this and I will do this. I owe it to myself and my loved ones.

You're right, there can't be any excuses for a relapse. It's a sudden lapse of reason.
I was the relapse king. So many times, so many excuses.
Sometimes there wasn't an excuse at all, I just drank because it was what I did.

Don't be too hard on yourself. start anew with more ambition this time and if you feel like a drink, come back and read your post.
Best to you and many sober days ahead.

I am sorry to hear that you relapsed, Natasha, but happy that you are back with us.

Have you thought what went wrong and what you can do differently?

Keep at it, Natasha. You don't fail when you stumble, you fail when you won't get back up again.

Good for you! Maybe enrolling in a sober living program would help keep you on track?
