300 days!
300 days!
Can't believe I'm closing in on a year without alcohol! My counter app says 300 days today, and $3,000 saved. Wow.
It truly does get easier and easier. I feel great, physically stronger, emotionally more stable. I do have some health concerns that are troubling me (with joints and eyes), and I am convinced that some of them were aggravated by drinking so heavily. We can't do that to ourselves without consequences.
Life is such a fragile gift. Don't squander the health and body you have, thinking you "need" this poisonous substance. No one needs it. Life doesn't revolve around any substance, food or drink. I am able to say now, fully and completely, good riddance.
I need to stay more in touch here. Every time I read, it helps me, and I want to help others too.
If anyone new wants to read my old story, it's here: https://www.soberrecovery.com/forums...rate-stop.html (Wine drinking woman, desperate to stop)
Thanks all!
