Day 3 and still can’t sleep
Hey everybody. I’m starting day 3 now and the hardest thing for me is laying in bed trying to fall asleep and thinking about drinking. I’m used to being completely messed up going to bed. I’m used to drinking two-fifths of rum a week plus beer on top of that. I am doing much better now but the no sleeping is driving me crazy.
Hi klein
Insomnia is normal for a lot of us in withdrawal, especially if you used booze to sleep.
My sleep settled down, progressively better and better, over a week to ten days.
Here are some common sense tips that might help?

Hope it gets better soon - welcome aboard!
