Feeling proud of myself, nd apprehensive. Spent 6 hours at the pub with friends who are in town to see me. They got pissed, I had a soda and did not feel at all tempted. But wondered if I’ll need new friends?! For now just taking it a day at a time. Grateful to this forum, which helped me feel, ‘looking forward to getting on the train and posting that I made it another day.’

Congrats on Day 4 Sophie. Don't know if you'll 'need' more friends, but you will probably make different friends, ones with interests and activities more to your new sober life.

The longer I stayed sober the more I attracted like minded people - you will too
