Day 2 alcohol craving
How sad is this. 2 days ago my day started with a breakfast drink. Then continued throughout the day with mini breaks in between. Then once 5 o'clock hit, that was my happy hour.. then the drinks proceeded until I would pass out. Well I thought all my alcohol was locked away, then I seen one lonely beer hiding in my drawer. It took everything I had not to crack it open. And now I can't stop thinking about that one beer.

Hello.
Your routine sounds like mine only I didn't wait for five o'clock to roll around.
It was a couple of shooters of whiskey followed by beer the rest of the day.
And this was starting at 8am.
I would dump that beer,,,if you're anything like me, you know what drinking it will lead to.
You're early in sobriety. Very new. I know I would drink that beer, if I didn't dump it, and all the regret, anxiety and self-loathing that would come with it after I drank another twenty drinks.
Best to you and remember, you don't have to drink that beer.

It's the evenings that bother me the most.
