Only 3 days sober.

3 days in and my body dors not know what is going on. No sickness or shakes just other minor issues. I guess I should be thankful.

Those first three days are really tough so good for you for getting through it. It only gets better from there. John

Every day will get just a little bit easier. And you will feel so accomplished to get through the weekend - I know I did!!

Hello and welcome. Only three days is a long time. I couldn't go without a drink for three days for twenty years, so you should be proud of your achievement.
I know my body and mind went through a lot at three days.
Keep it up, it'll only get better as your body adjusts to not having poison in your system.
You'll find a lot of support here, so stick around.
Wishing you the best.

Hi Bert
Welcome to SR. Like you, I had no withdrawals and no problem quitting. I recommend that you make a plan and stick close to SR nonetheless.
You will find a lot of support here.

Congratulations on 3 TOUGH days! You're doing great. Things will start to get better. Hang in there. Keep yourself busy, read SR threads. During my first days, I spent hours on here just reading. I gained a huge amount of strength to continue.

Bert,

I relapsed over and over after.3 or more days.

Each time the recovery took longer.

I am still recovering from my last relapse nearly 3 years ago.

Stay clean.

Thanks.
