2 Weeks Done!
Feel free to ignore my excitement over reaching the 2 week milestone. I'll never forget the day I quit ... it was the day after my stepdads funeral. That night I spent £280 on drinks for myself and anyone else I happened to bump into at the wake. I cringe in embarrassment thinking back. The hangover was deathly.
And now here I am. I'm not sure if my liver is grateful, or I've damaged it beyond repair. The rest of my body feels great though.
I hope everyone else is reaching their milestones and enjoying kicking alcohol to the curb. Sobriety is much more rewarding and exciting sober. You got this! We all have!
