Thank you to everyone. It is comforting to know someone is out there listening. I have a great people around me but none that seem to understand this struggle. I think i have done too good of a job hiding this side of myself from most and those closest to me just don't go there even though i can tell they are concerned. I am glad i posted. Goodnight all.

I also had more day 1's than I could count. Joining SR and reading helped. Posting iced it. I'm 21 days and loving it. You can do it too.

I read the messages here for such a long time without posting, I also had a lot of day ones during those times. I started posting and have found this site an invaluable part of my recovery. I have found people I can laugh, cry and vent with who get what it is to struggle with alcohol without judgement.

I highly recommend joining the February class group when you feel ready, having a smaller group within this big site also has been a huge help to me.
