There's no need in doing this alone. I actually think people that try and go it alone have a way harder time than those who reach out for support. Use everything/tool you can get your hands and mind on. It's not easy,but it's easier with support and advice from like minded, been there/done that peeps.

Ur right don'tremember, I have tried and failed, trying it alone. its funny though...this time of sobriety, I have found that I want to open up to people, some anyway. I think it was dreamcatcher that told me earlier that I have to learn who I really am after 30 years of drinking. Maybe i do actually like people, lol.

HAHA...and trust me..There's nothing you've said or done drunk/using that any of us would bat an eye at! When I first joined here I was given all sorts of solid advice/options,but... I was too cool for that 'noise' and could handle it(ego). I wish I'd had been more open minded and saved myself a few more years of misery on several life fronts.
