On day 8 & feeling down
Hi all,
I am on day 8 and feeling low, maybe its the fact that I am isolating myself. But I felt the need to do this as being around people where triggering thoughts of drinking. In bed a lot I will try to get some exercise next week and hopefully that works, if not I will visit my doctor but I feel they are sick of me as they have told me to quit alcohol before.Any comments welcome.

Congrats to both of you - early recovery is a time of great ups and downs for most of us I think.
The good thing is the downs don't last that long - not weeks or months or even years like they did when I was drinking.

Hi all as said by D in previous post.
You are at the very start of your sober journey.
You can expect many changes.
Tiredness physical and mental is one for sure.
Drink plenty of water to maintain optimum hydration. Do whatever you can do but do not be to hard on yourself.
