Thanks Andy! I’d never have followed the course, had you not posted the weekly links.
The regular meditation practice is definitely honing my ability to shorten that time gap, between the automatic (unwanted) thoughts floating up from my sub-consciousness and my conscious noticing of them; thereby reducing the chance that I’ll engage and embroiled in them and increasing my ability to make the choice to actively engage or dismiss. Power in the pause, for sure.

I’m such a procrastinator. I often start a ‘self-improvement/educational’ online course, and because it doesn’t involve f2f weekly attendance, I let the study slip, on the basis I’ll catch up next week. Only I don’t. Then it snowballs and I become daunted by the catch-up required, and give in! This Mindfulness course will be the first one I’ve actually completed in eons.
