Howling

Hi all

Yesterday and today I've been howling today has been worse
Managed to get to sleep early yesterday

My whole head has gone into spasm. It just wants wants wants
That and the rugby today. I've been most uncomfortable.

It may be tiredness. It may be a headache. It could be anything but the other.

It's painful and tiresome.....Whatever it is .....

At the back of my mind though, the will to achieve is still strong luckily

It's funny how this comes in batches of days then goes away.
Knowing it will go away makes me treat it like I'm ill so I've been taking it easy and as long as I stay ill that's what I'll do.

I'm convinced a beer won't make me better and at 33 days in I'm hardly a black belt at this

I guess this is my vulnerable time and it can never get worse than this so I'll just hang in their until it passes.

This post is for me but if it relates to anyone else hang in there it does pass

All the best

Dave

Not all days are diamond days that would be boring.....

Stay strong buddy!

If you cave you will regret it big time. Double big time! and then it's another 33 just to get back to where you are now.
Keep pushing forward.

Hi RUL23

Howling is a description of how my inner head feels right now
It's an exaggeration of probably what is really going on
It's like when you have a cold and men say they have flu "Man flu"
I hope I explained it well enough
I hope it passes soon
Thanks
Dave

Hang in there Dave....you will be so glad tomorrow. And your team won I believe?! Time to dance around the house, you won't have to regret that in a few hours time! Going back drinking in my experience has been miserable every time.
Best wishes.

Thanks DS and 2nd hand rose
I 'll be brutally honest and this might make you both laugh
Howling was the right word and I don't mean to be rude
I just used my throne (I have been irregular lately and not used to this)
Anyway Suffice to say after much gritting of teeth and huffing and puffing
I feel much better again
Relief..The pressure in my head has gone
So there's something to learn
More fibre in the diet eh
Sorry if I'm graphic but I feel 10 years younger again
All the best
Dave......

It seems someone has taken offence to this thread.
If the moderators want to delete it then I am happy for them to do so.
If the person who has taken offence wants to block that would be fine to.
I don't force people to read my posts.
All the best

I didn't find it the least offensive--we are physical beings, and that is a big issue
many people face when they quit drinking.

I enjoy your posts quite a bit as well.

Thanks Hawkeye
I am absolutely taken aback
Literally red in the face.
Need to calm down
I'll be fine in ten minutes
Thanks once again
Dave

Rock,

It got easier for sure.

The US is filled w holidays and party days, probably like everywhere else.

Today is Superbowl 52. I never liked football much, but I love the Superbowl.

It is up there with New Years and Xmas to me.

I used to drink the whole weekend. I would go into work absolutely destroyed.

Now I don't drink anymore, but I enjoy my favorite foods all weekend instead.

Wonderful coffee, doughnuts, cakes, cookies, pizza, lasagna, steak, chicken..etc etc.

All weekend. So much fun!

Relaxing and enjoying food.

Sober life is where it is at for me.

Thanks.
