Feelings
Alcohol gives you wings
But it takes away the sky
I say that every day and it helps me alot as I know the feeling of crash landing through drinking
34 days and I feel great
I take one hour at a time
That's all I can do
I make time for me now like long hot baths
Reading on my kindle
Hot chocolate and fun days with my children
Normal lovely days
I thank god and you all because without this site I wouldn't have made my 34 days

I heard a saying about alcohol and feelings the other day which really resonated with me. It goes along the lines of "I drank to drown my feelings, but my feelings learnt to swim".
