The mind is a funny thing. The 'way ' I think and the words I use really do affect me.
I think most people understand the power of a positive mantra and how its repetitive use can strengthen a positive intent or change. The power of negative mantras are exactly the same. I was a drinker in the past. I have relapsed in the past. Whatever happened in the past is over. Today I will not drink no matter what.

Acceptance of the past and moving to the future.
Each morning brings a new future.
Knowing where you were and knowing where you're going
The words in the first post came from a chap who works in a wholesalers I use
we were talking and he was told he had to stop or curtains
That was what he said to himself every morning
And it made sense to me too
It seemed poignant
Anyway a diamond day today
so all is good
