Unfortunately I did relapse
Was wondering where you were!
Get back on that horse! I'm in the same spot. Tempted to drink but I wasn't even enjoying it anymore. I'd drink myself sober everytime or go from fine to passed out passing go and not buzzed, not collecting 200 bucks.
We got you and you got this.

relapse shmmeelapse. Doesn't matter. Just dust yourself off and move forward.
You're dealing w quite a bit being at home and probably feeling like you don't know what to do with your time. I can relate. I work but filling the night time has proven a little difficult. You got any hobbies? Any more job leads?
This is a perfect time for you to think about what kind of job you want to have. Most people rush into it and find themselves in a miserable job. You have an opportunity to make the life you've always wanted.
Not trying to be nosy or anything. Just trying to encourage.

Thank you very much for your kindness. I really appreciate it. I am waiting to hear back from two jobs I interviewed with. I also have great parents that say dust your self off. Just sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thank you again I appreciate it and the encouragement. I need to exercise that helps my sobriety just been so cold out in Boston.
In the end, I couldn't feel the euphoria from alcohol anymore, either.
You haven't failed until you stop trying. But, you also do not get unlimited chances to stop and get sober. At some point our drinking progresses to the point we reach alcohol levels that becomes deadly dangerous. Last time I was in the hospital from a binge I was a .38. And I had stopped drinking several hours before.
Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Yeah, I was a .38 and didn't feel the least bit buzzed, or stumbling around.
One young nurse asked the other (more experienced one), "how is he still conscious, let alone coherent and functional?"
"Tolerance," she replied. "Chronic drinkers can tolerate really high BACs that most people can't."

my same story . I went to MGH and they were shocked I was not legless . Very kind though I think they realize it is an illness more understanding. still no excuse I should be doing the work to keep sober. My aunt has been sober since 12/23/00 almost 18 years and I asked her how she does it and she responded I never ever want to feel the pain again when I first got sober
