26 years today
the old timers told me to announce my birthdays ...

not for my selfish self-centered self ...

1. so the new people could see that its possible to stay sober a while

2. so that the people who got sober with me could see that we are still here

3. and for the old timers who cant believe that knucklehead is still sober!

thats a miracle!

Congratulations this is awesome, and yes I think it is good to announce your birthday so it show newcomers who are struggling and feeling overwhelmed that it is perfectly doable and that they too can have a (good) life without alcohol
