Plan

I need to come up with a plan. Today is day 2 but I seem to struggle about day 5. Sometimes Im not triggered by anger, or a bad day. Sometimes it a good day and after work all I want to do is go get a bottel and some cigs. Im so nervous because zi dont want to fail again.

If you fail to plan you plan to fail, imo. Expect the tests and temptations will come and see it as an opportunity to resist and thereby grow stronger and transform your mind. Every time you resist your building brain muscle. Muscle to kick its butt the next time it rears it ugly face.

Good luck!

Btw, good day, bad day, day that ends in Y. It doesn't matter. Your body is physically addicted. Starve the beast.

You need to figure out what you're going to different this day five to shut the AV down so it doesn't fool you again.

Good luck Toni,

Don't think about failing. Think about how you will succeed.

Dee's link is a great one, the resources on there, and posting and reading daily on SR helped me to finally get sober. Having a recovery plan was key.

Sample Plan:

When I feel like drinking I am going to __________________ instead.

Fill in the blank.
Execute as needed.

You can do this.
