Back again and scared.

I am back. Looking for day one. I did November sober but started drinking on December the first.
I have been drinking pretty heavy and I am scared that I won't be able to stop this time.

Thanks for being here.

Welcome back, asixstringnut.

Can you go to the ER for a medically supervised detox? Are you able to a rehab stay?

YOU are worth every effort.

I'm glad you're back and ready to stop drinking. If you are concerned, perhaps a medical detox would be a good idea.

Good to see you back and needing support to get you thru this again. We will be here for you always. Is this your Day one? When was your last drink? How are you feeling?

Would you consider inpatient? You've been having trouble staying sober, might want to get extra help getting sober.

Welcome back, asixstringnut.

If you've been drinking heavily and have concerns, maybe a consultation with your doctor is in order?

Welcome back Six - all good advice here - I'd throw everything you have at it, man - recovery groups, Dr, counselling, inpatient/outpatient rehab - whatever you can access.

Thanks for the support and advise. I really need to make it through tonight with out drinking. I am really craving that fix right now.
No alcohol in the house so I just need to stop myself from going to the store for a bottle.
I don't feel like I need go to a detox place. I did rehab once before and was drinking 6 months later. I can't afford to go back to rehab. It was 18 grand last time I tried rehab.
I guess I am just going to have to hang on for dear life tonight and pray I don't end up going out for that bottle.

Take it hour by hour. Every hour is an accomplishment you should be proud of. Try to get some rest if you can. You sound like you really want to be finished with this cycle. You had a good month so you know you can do it, you just have to resolve to not justify a drink. You can get this!

I think the Salvation Army has no cost rehab programs. Just a thought.
