Meetings
ah outpatient has family meetings on thursdays. I was so angry before I went. I loved it. I came home feeling great.
Then I took one look at h and got pissed all over again.
Now I know why people go to meetings so often.

So glad to hear this worked for you AM.
I'd think in your situation, anger is a good thing. I always see it as similar to bleeding when you have been physically hurt. You have been emotionally hurt so it makes sense you are angry.
Keep hitting those meetings. Are you going to Alanon?

I know. I’m trying to maintain my social I’ve bc I need that support. I have 3 kids and get little help from my h since he’s working and in outpatient, and I work full time and I like sleep... I need more hours in the day.
Not sure how old your kids are, AM, but at least in my area, many Alanon meetings offer child care for a nominal charge--usually a dollar per child. If your kids are older, you may be able to find Alanon meetings that run concurrently with Alateen/Alakid meetings, and the kids can get some support and education, too.
