"Now that you put it that way"
I was invited yesterday to the pub by my best friend. She laughed when I said I'd just left a recovery group.
Said "What you doing that for? You haven't got a problem"
I sipped my blackcurrant squash with ice. Refreshing. Pulled on a cigarette and said "We come out every other day. I drink till I blackout up to or equivalent to 20 pints in the sesh. Over a two week period that's 140 beers dear"
She said "Now that you put it that way"
And also offered me her full support.
Everyone should have an alcohol calculator fitted.
Said "What you doing that for? You haven't got a problem"
