Hi I'm two weeks sober tomorrow and I haven't been over all to bad ..
Today I went back to work after Christmas and have been on a real downer all day ..really craving a wine 😢😢😢
I bought a Terry's chocolate orange chocolate egg instead ...
Was feeling so good now I feel so down ...
Just helps me to write it down

Hang in there, those first days/weeks/months are really hard but know you are healing inside and taking a drink will just reset the progress and healing you've made.

Be gentle with yourself. Early sobriety is a whirlwind of emotions. Cravings will come and go. Remember, your feelings won't kill you but alcohol will kill you.

If you are experiencing the return to work blues... I get it! I just have to mentally boundary myself and say "it's just a job" my real life and loves are elsewhere and it's not worth drinking over.

Its a horrible down feeling I know but it will pass. Try spoil yourself tonight, starting with the chocolate orange, the stalk is the best bit.
Today will pass but tomorrow morning you will be so glad you didn't have the wine. Take care.
